General-Purpose Average-Reading Wattmeter for Analog, CW-type RF Power Measurement

Model 43Model 43

The Model 43 THRULINE ® Directional Wattmeter accurately measures forward or reflected power in coaxial transmission lines under any load condition. It is ideal for analog wireless systems, as well as general power measurement of CW, FM, and PM signals from 450 kHz to 2.7 GHz and 100 mW to 10 kW.

The Model 43 consists of a precision, 50-ohm line section, leQCio (Quick Change) connectors and a shock-mounted 30 microamp indication meter housed in a rugged, corrosion-resistant aluminum case. Two female leNil-type leQCi- connectors are normally supplied, but these connectors can be interchanged in the field by removing four screws.

Remote installation can be achieved by removing the Model 43 RF line section and inserting it at any desired point in the transmission line while the meter itself is mounted in a convenient location.

  • Ideal for power measurements of single-carrier, CW, FM, and Phase-Modulated RF signals.
  • ±5% of full-scale reading accuracy.
