Features

• 5-tone encode and decode
  • The built-in 5-tone decoder allows for 8 decode strings per channel if needed. Besides a simple alert, the decode function can also:
    • Open the squelch
    • Close the squelch
    • Transpond automatically
    • Work with or without CTCSS/DCS decoding
    • Turn the Call icon on or off
    • Start or stop scan
    • Stun/Kill/Revive the radio
    • Auto TX
    • Turn Emergency on or off
    • Turn on or off logic outputs of the accessory port.
    • ~ Remember, all 5-tone decode pairs can have their own alpha tag as well !
    • The encode allows for 32 different strings. There are three "hot call" function keys you can program that will immediately call a specific string, or you can use the Code Up or Code Down keys to scroll through them. The encode pairs also have their own alpha tags!

• Emergency feature
  • The built in emergency function can switch to an emergency channel, send the ENI, etc.
• DTMF ANI Built in
  • The VX-2200 mobiles come with DTMF ANI built in

• 128 Channel Capacity
  • The VX-2200 balances the need for channel capacity while still keeping a simple user interface. The 128 channels can all have their own alpha tag. You have up to eight groups to separate your channels. Each group can also have it's own alpha tag.
