"C"   Series
Multicouplers

              C 2017
C2017Sinclair's C-Series multicouplers offers excellent performance combined with ease of expandability required in many multicoupling systems. Each C-Series multicoupler channel consists of a reject cavity and one or more bandpass cavities, depending on the selectivity required.
The reject cavity acts as a switch, diverting the wanted channel frequency to or from the antenna, while allowing the remaining channel frequencies to flow in the antenna feed-thru line to or from the remaining C-Series multicoupler channels.
C3027Because cable lengths between C-Series multicoupler channels are not critical, additional channels may be easily added in the field. However, in order to minimize losses due to cabling, these interconnecting cables should be as short as possible.
These highly versatile combiners offer improved performance through the addition of single or dual stage isolators and/or one or more Q-circuit cavities wherever they are required.

      C-4317-D
C4317DSinclair's 'C' series of expandable multicouplers is available in the 806-960 MHz band. 'C' series multicouplers are used to add one or more transmit or receive channels to an existing system. Since cable lengths between 'C' series multicoupler channels are not critical, this can be done easily in the field, keeping system downtime to a minimum.
Each 'C' series multicoupler channel consists of one reject cavity and one or more bandpass cavities. The number of bandpass cavities is determined by the selectivity required to accommodate the frequency separation to the nearest adjacent channel.
The reject cavity acts as a switch, diverting the wanted channel frequency to or from the antenna, while allowing the remaining channel frequencies to flow in the antenna feed-thru line to or from other 'C' series multicoupler channels or filtering or combining equipment.
'C' series multicoupling is an excellent method of adding one or more "reclaimed" channels to an existing trunked radio system, provided appropriate spacing can be maintained. For example, with a 5-channel trunked system with an RTC-800 combiner, a 'C' series channel for the new transmit frequency is inserted in the antenna feed line ahead of the existing combiner.
Sinclair's 'C' series multicouplers in the 806-960 MHz band utilize high-Q, three-quarter wavelength cavities. In addition, many systems also incorporate single or dual-stage isolators and Sinclair Q-Circuit filters to provide additional isolation to or from a specific frequency.

C-2017
The C-2017 consists of a single bandpass cavity in conjunction with a reject cavity for use where significant channel separation is available. The C-2017 multicoupler is also available in various configurations to suit specific system requirements. The C-2017C and C-2017D utilize integral single- or dual-stage isolators respectively to provide needed isolation when combining transmitters with close frequency spacing. When extremely close frequency pairs are a problem, Model C-2017-IQ, incorporating a single Q-circuit cavity, can be used to protect adjacent channels.

C-2027
The C-2027 consists of two bandpass cavities and one reject cavity used to combine transmitters or receivers with interchannel spacing down to I MHz. As with the C-2017 series, optional single- or dual-stage isolators and/or Q-circuit cavities can be used to complement the isolation.

C-2037
Utilizing three bandpass cavities, the C-2037 allows interchannel spacing down to 500 kHz. This high selectivity series is ideally suited to systems where significant expansion is contemplated.

C-3017
The C-3017 consists of a single bandpass cavity in conjunction with a reject cavity for use where significant channel separation is available. The C-3017 combiner is also available in various configurations to suit specific system requirements. The C-3017C and C-3017D utilize integral single- or dual-stage isolators respectively to provide needed isolation when combining transmitters with close frequency spacing.

C-3027
The C-3027 consists of two bandpass cavities and one reject cavity used to combine transmitters or receivers with interchannel spacing down to I MHz. As with the C-3017 series, optional
single- or dual-stage isolators and/or Q-circuit cavities can be used to complement the isolation.

C-3037
Utilizing three bandpass cavities, the C-3037 allows interchannel spacing down to 500 kHz. This high selectivity series is ideally suited to systems where significant expansion is contemplated.
